Storey is a London-based artist born in England in 1988, known for her powerful abstract works that blend symbolism with expressive techniques. Working primarily with gold leaf to create reflective surfaces, her paintings often incorporate antique frames she repurposes, making them integral to the art itself. Storey’s work explores themes of time, permanence, and the marks we leave behind.
Her art is crafted using a combination of energetic brushstrokes and meticulous carving, revealing layers beneath the surface. With a global perspective influenced by time living in Canada and Hong Kong, Storey’s work has been featured in British Vogue and displayed in Harrods, marking her as a prominent voice in contemporary abstract art.
