Based on the edge of London, her work fuses abstract expressionism, symbolism and pop art into paintings finished in gold and silver leaf. Each painting begins with a feeling or a memory, something worth holding in time. The process starts fast and instinctive, then slows into something more considered: layers built up, marks and symbols carved into the surface, gold and silver leaf applied by hand.
